CANCELLATION POLICY
CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING & NO-SHOW POLICY Sean Burke LMT Effective Date: August 11, 2026 At Sean Burke LMT, each appointment is reserved exclusively for the client who scheduled it. Because appointment time is specifically held for you and may not be possible to fill on short notice, the following Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy applies to all appointments. By scheduling an appointment with Sean Burke LMT, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the following policy. 1. CANCELLATIONS WITH MORE THAN 24 HOURS NOTICE Appointments canceled with more than 24 hours notice may be canceled without a cancellation fee. Cancellation notice must be provided by text message to 850-527-9423 or email to seanburkelmt@gmail.com. The notice period is calculated from the scheduled appointment start time. 2. CANCELLATIONS WITH 24 OR LESS HOURS NOTICE ANY CANCELLATION MADE WITH 24 OR LESS HOURS NOTICE WILL RESULT IN A CANCELLATION FEE EQUAL TO 50% OF THE SCHEDULED SERVICE PRICE. This fee applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, subject only to any rights or protections that cannot legally be waived or restricted under applicable law. The 50% cancellation fee is based on the amount of notice provided and the appointment time reserved. By agreeing to this policy, the client authorizes Sean Burke LMT to charge the applicable cancellation fee to the payment method on file. 3. ONE-TIME RESCHEDULING A client may reschedule a scheduled appointment one (1) time without a rescheduling fee, provided the rescheduling request is made with more than 24 hours notice. Rescheduling requests must be made by text message to 850-527-9423 or email to seanburkelmt@gmail.com. The one complimentary rescheduling applies to each appointment. 4. ADDITIONAL RESCHEDULING After the one permitted complimentary rescheduling, any additional request to reschedule an appointment will result in a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service price. A deposit will also be required before the appointment can be rebooked. Future appointments may be subject to a deposit requirement following repeated rescheduling. 5. NO-SHOWS A NO-SHOW is defined as failing to appear for a scheduled appointment without providing the required cancellation notice. A NO-SHOW WILL RESULT IN A CHARGE OF 100% OF THE SCHEDULED SERVICE PRICE. The 100% no-show charge may be charged to the payment method on file. Following a no-show, all future appointments will require a deposit to be paid at the time of booking. The deposit requirement will remain in effect for future appointments. Any outstanding no-show balance must be paid before another appointment may be scheduled. 6. DEPOSITS FOR REBOOKING Following a no-show, or following additional rescheduling beyond the one permitted complimentary rescheduling, Sean Burke LMT will require a deposit before reserving another appointment. The deposit amount will be disclosed to the client before the appointment is booked. Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, the deposit will be applied toward the scheduled service. If the client subsequently cancels with 24 or less hours notice, reschedules beyond the permitted one-time rescheduling, or fails to appear for the appointment, the applicable cancellation, rescheduling, or no-show charge will apply to the extent permitted by law. 7. REASON FOR CANCELLATION Sean Burke LMT applies this policy based on the amount of notice provided and whether the client attends the scheduled appointment, rather than the reason for cancellation. Accordingly, the applicable fee will generally apply regardless of the reason for cancellation, subject only to rights or protections that cannot legally be waived or restricted under applicable law. 8. PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION By scheduling an appointment and agreeing to this policy, the client authorizes Sean Burke LMT to charge applicable cancellation, rescheduling, and no-show fees to the payment method provided by the client and maintained on file for appointment-related charges. If a charge is declined or cannot be processed, the outstanding balance must be resolved before another appointment may be scheduled. 9. CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND AGREEMENT This policy is provided to the client before or at the time an appointment is scheduled.
